Mesa County came out in record numbers for the precinct caucus in favor of Mitt Romney. Unfortunately for us, the majority of the rest of the country came out in favor of John McCain. Now we all have a distinct decision to make, support McCain, Mike Huckabee or Ron Paul.

McCain has clearly shown that he is not a real conservative from his stances on illegal immigration amnesty to his campaign finance reform bill that only accomplished muzzling dissent of incumbents before elections and suppressing individual speech.

If you think he will reign in spending in any manner, you’re seriously misinformed. McCain will increase the size of the deficit, continue to devalue the dollar and fail to stop our immigration problems.

Huckabee and Paul are the only candidates that have any chance of beating a Democrat because they have a few real differences from the Democrats. The real McCain is a way-mongering, social Democrat who cannot beat the other supposedly peace-loving Democrats in November.

Conservatives should get behind Romney or Paul but not McCain. He looks like a ghoul from Resident Evil.

Thanks Dave. I agree. Stay home or vote for Huckabee.

Not voting is ludicrous. Every “Conservative” that does not vote, just adds one more vote to the count for the Democrats. Then, you get who you voted for; Hillary or Obama, along with all the wonderful “what your government can do for you” programs.
