My compliments to Alan Sage for his well-written letter dealing with “real science” about Global Warming. And, my thanks to The Daily Sentinel for publishing his letter. The purpose of my letter is to describe the major source for alleged truth justifying alarm, hysteria, and drivel called “global warming.” It came from an agency of the United Nations called Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). That agency is one of many agencies of the United Nations, e.g., Human Rights, Refugees, Iraq Oil for Food (a fraud), Disarmament, World Health, etc. How creditable are the activities of those UN Agencies? The United Nations consists of 192 Member Governments, of which about 40 % are not democracies. In the UN General Assembly, about 80 % of its votes do not support the wishes of the United States. The UN consists of about 17,000 bureaucrats of which most come from their member countries; many of them at the UN live in rent free, tax free, expense account free, and a luxurious world unlike anything they have ever experienced — or could experience — at home. They like it and they want to stay. They keep their UN jobs longer if those bureaucrats manage to create “welfare like” programs that shuttle money back to their host countries. And, in the “non-democracies,” how much of that money somehow finds its way into the pockets of its rulers?

In 1947 President Truman called the United Nations “a global light for World Peace”; some years later President Truman said that the “United Nations light had gone out.” The meetings of the UN Climate Change Panel last a few weeks, receive reports from a few scientists but mostly from non-scientists, and the drafting of its IPCC Report is mostly done by non-scientists and the latter select the information that best supports “sending welfare money” to the “poor member countries.” The most recent Report shows the names of supporting scientists, but names of scientists that do not support global warming were omitted or they requested to be omitted from the Report. The United States is supporting about $2 billion of UN functions; the US, Japan and a few other “rich countries” provide the major source of UN revenue. For more information on the topic called Global Warming, read these books: MELTDOWN by P.J. Michaels (a Professor and past President of American Association of State Climatologists); INSIDE THE ASYLUM (why the United Nations and Old Europe are Worse Than You Think) by Jed Babbin, former Undersecretary of Defense.

It should be called the United Notions and the U S should get out and send them to some other country to spread their U S hatred without our financing!!!

If the United States only paid 1/192 of the UN budget I might consider continuing an active membership, other than the security council seat.

It’s always better to be able to tell an obnoxious child “NO” once in a while.

Pack up all the bureaucrats and “delegations” and ship them to the Hague. You know, that place where the “world court” sits.

That way, when the time arises that that “august body of diplomats” becomes so totally useless to justify removing them, we only have one target, and unlike 9/11, it’s NOT ON AMERICAN SOIL!
