Le Roy Standish needs to be sent packing. His extreme liberal bias is showing all too well when he writes such drivel as he did in the article about the De Beque mayor resigning.

He wrote, “It is being inundated with speculative developers and energy companies seeking profit.” He has unfairly cast everyone desiring to develop their property as “speculative” and used the word “profit” as a derogatory term. Those two adjectives should have been deleted as providing nothing of value to the story about the mayor. One can just see and hear the sneer in his voice when reading his writing.

FYI, all development is not speculative and “profit” is not a four-letter expletive. If he is so anti-capitalist and against a person’s property rights to develop his land to meet a need in a community, maybe he needs to move at least to one of the liberal coasts where they will buy into his kind of thinking.

One can never again read anything that he writes and not read the extreme bias with which he writes. His credibility is shot. He writes only as one using his position as an opportunity to put forth his liberal mindset and try to convert all of we of the underclass to his “correct” way of thinking.
