The voter registration system at the mall needs to be improved! There needs to be a secure box at the entrance of the DMV during and after business hours where citizens could place their registration forms.

It is unprofessional when a citizen must find a clerk, interrupt the clerk, hand the clerk the voter registration form with private information (including signature), only to have the voter registration form laid on the back table to be dealt with when time permits.

People will lose trust in the system when it is handled like this, even when the DMV people are deputized. Citizens will not vote. Identity theft is a real possibility. Perhaps mailing in the form is the best solution.

The unprofessional voter registration system in Mesa County at the mall needs to be immediately improved before worrying about the actual election voting procedure in November.

A conference call with the Election Office and the Mesa County Clerk and Recorders Office did not give me much hope for a change. The strong possibility of corruption comes to my mind ( similar to problems in a developing country like Kenya) when a situation such as this occurs.
