I have been paying attention to the idea of adding two county commissioners.
I think that five county commissioners may be a good idea but I think a better idea is to have each district vote for their own commissioner independently of the rest of the county, that way there is a stronger tie between the district and the commissioner that is representing them.
As it stands, we vote for commissioners as a whole, even though the commissioner is supposed to represent a specific district.
