I have no sympathy for homeowners who took out mortgages they couldn’t pay for. In the past few years there have been low mortgage rates of less than 5 percent. People simply bought what they’d LIKE to live in, not what size home they could afford. If they thought the low ARMS would continue — well, haven’t they heard of “no free lunch”?

Others (grabbers all) took out loans against homes to buy luxury toys or travel to exotic destinations. We, the people, should not pay ANYTHING, to bail out either greedy banks or homeowners. Let our voices be heard in Congress, national newspapers, etc.

I agree, people try to keep up with the Jones’s way to much. It’s a pet peve of mine, if you truly can’t afford it then you don’t need it. People don’t like you for what you have, you can have a Mansion however if your a jerk nobody will be there to hang out with you…..
