The state of Colorado may be unsure of the “personhood” of a baby pre-birth, and the Mesa County lawyers both for and against Logan Lage may be at odds, but ask the mother who just lost her daughter if Lileigh was a person before she was born. Any woman who has carried a baby 8 1/2 months knows full well that the person inside her already has strong reactions to what is going on around her. She has a temperament, habits and preferences well before anyone in the legal realms recognizes her existence or personhood.

Shame on Colorado for even considering not offering Ms. Lehnen reasonable justice in the senseless death of her baby.
