Are there other Daily Sentinel readers who are fed up with Henrietta Hay’s condescending lectures extolling the virtues of Hillary Clinton? We are accused of being sexist if we point out the sleazy tactics her campaign has used to attack Sen. Obama and further informed that it is wrong and immature to vote against Hillary just because she is a woman.
She deliberately fails to mention it would be equally brain dead and irresponsible to vote for her just because she is female. Would she so heartily embrace another candidate, say Condoleezza Rice, who is both female and black? Miss Rice is infinitely more qualified and experienced in matters of foreign policy and her demeanor is not that of a cackling harpy from a Shakespearean play.
Furthermore, the frequent references to Eleanor Roosevelt and her contributions to society are so irrelevant to our nation’s current problems that one wonders where rational thought ends and fantasy begins. If this line of thinking and comparison is valid, then it would be logical to conclude that President Bush’s decision to invade Iraq was his way of implementing the advice given by FDR’s favorite cousin and mentor, Teddy, who admonished us to “walk softly and carry a big stick.”
Whining about press bias does little to demonstrate the strong moral character and courage that are the requisites of being president. Hillary’s willingness to jump from one persona or position to another puts me in mind of either Cybil or a chameleon on plaid.
All of this will undoubtedly be dismissed as the ravings of another “angry white man”, since hanging labels on critics is easier than facing the truth. Take off the rose-colored glasses, Henrietta, it’s time to look at Hillary in the bright light. You are starting to sound like a broken record.

I have long felt that Henrietta needs to retire from public life. The Hillary obsession is one very good reason. I find it amazing that Hillary Clinton has as much support as she does. She certainly does not have any of the attributes (not one) that we should expect, in fact, demand of our President, regardless of race or sex. For the life of me I cannot understand what Henrietta sees in her. But than….. she’s a woman. well so am I, and Hillary will not get my vote because she does not have strong moral character, she cannot be truthful and she does not have a proven track record of accomplishing one thing good for our country.

henrietta is for real?
I thought, since nearly all of her positions are so whacked out, that she was maybe in her early twenties and on a perpetual overdose of stupid pills.
Hmmm, so she’s well-over twenty something, but still overdosed on stupid pills.
There is an old saying:
“Ignorance can be cured with knowledge, but you can’t cure stupid.”
I guess she proves it?
