King and the homestead exemption

State Rep. Steve King should understand the seniors’ property tax law before he questions Bruces’s “logic.” If you reduce exemptions, you are raising taxes.

I agree with King that paying property taxes in Colorado for 70 plus years should qualify a person for the present exemption. Don’t pay for your dreams with seniors’ money.

Bruce is the most realistic member of the Legislature. Don’t compare concern for seniors to a lack of logic. Don’t play “smoke and mirrors” with us. We have been there and back.
