Recently, I heard Sen. Hillary Clinton mention that she was going to work against out-sourcing American jobs. But, I didn’t hear her say anything about doing away with illegal immigration.

As I have mentioned before in a letter to the editor, we do not need to go outside our borders to out-source American jobs. Every time we hire an illegal immigrant, we do it right here at home.

Here’s the Illegal Song as they pat the back of the Grand Junction PD and I.C.E. (What a joke!)

Sung with the Melody from: “I’m a Girl Watcher.”

I’m an illegal, I’m an illegal watching cops go by hey, my ,my my.

I’m an illegal, I’m an illegal watching cops go by, here comes one now.”

    Dear Editor,

In response to the article below, I am offering these points to ponder.

    “Saturday, April 12, 2008

    14 accused of immigration violations
Fourteen men were arrested Friday night at mile marker 14 on Interstate 70 on suspicion of immigration violations, according to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Department. A deputy pulled over a vehicle for a traffic violation about 9:30 p.m. Friday outside Loma and allegedly found the vehicle full of illegal immigrants, ranging in age from 19 to 45, according to the Sheriff’s Department. Members of Immigration and Customs Enforcement responded to the scene and arrested the 14 men.”

So is Mesa county/Grand Junction ok with illegal immigration or not ok with illegal immigration? If the illegal I have been wanting to have arrested was pulled over in his (registered - but not to him 90 series white Honda with Ill. plates; parked over on Private Rd #9 at 480 28 1/4 Rd), as an un- licensed driver with no auto insurance, then could he be arrested? Gee, I hope he takes to the road soon.

    As a side note:
I was told recently by a good source, that if Mesa county didn’t hire illegal aliens, (illegally) our rental cost would go through the roof. Can someone please tell me who the hell is running our local government? I sure didn’t vote these idiots into office, who did?
