So letter writer Stephen Helkowski thinks that Jimmy Carter is “the worst president in recent history.” Judging by that statement, one can only conclude that either he has existed in a parallel universe or been snoozing for the past seven years.

Obviously, Kenneth has never heard of such things as 5.25% interest on savings, nor double digit inflation, puttin’ on a sweater and lowering the thermostat, or gas shortages throughout the country, or giving Iran to the terrorist by undermining the Shah, or giving the Panama Canal to a third world imbecile to control, or the “middle east peace accord” that keeps killing Israelis, and has been the major reason there is no “peace” in the middle east.
It’s a very long list from the beginning of his “presidency” to the end, and it continues through to the current.
He gave North Korea that ability to develop nuclear weapons and now he wants to go visit with the terrorist organization hamas to give them some pointers on how to kill more of those pesky Jews no doubt.
Here’s a thought Ken, go study history.
