While I agree with much of The Daily Sentinel’s April 15 editorial, “Ethanol is one root of world food problem,” I was amused that Iowa Sen. Chuck Grassley’s boneheaded statement — “I bet if I set a bushel of corn in front of any of those delegates, not one of them would eat it” — was described as “a comment of Obamian insensitivity.”
Apparently, the Sentinel cannot bear to criticize a Republican without also criticizing a Democrat, and all within the same sentence this time. How creative.
