Intellectually as well as emotionally he is a lightweight and, judging from a personal encounter, I noted that when he is challenged outright he runs and hides or ‘goes to his corner’, later emerging only to complain as to how others were ‘mean’ to him, that people don’t listen to him, or that he is somehow being persecuted; i.e. dons the vestments of victimhood.

All of his campaigns consist of are ‘pandering’ to what is basest in man, selfishness, greed, as well as prejudice and fear. Naturally, that would not work if there were not so many who are in possession of those characteristics and allow themselves to be controlled by them.

And I still think Josh Penry is an idiot, and an errand boy for the Eastern Slope’s interests. I guess you have to live in Aspen to see how peachy-keen he is. (I don’t consider Aspen to be part of the Western Slope. I’m pretty confident they don’t, either.)
