You always hear bad things about our young adults these days, but on June 13 I had a load of pipe on my truck when the straps broke and the pipe fell off at the intersection in Clifton and the Delta turnoff. Three young men stopped and helped me reload the pipe back on my truck and gave me three tie-downs and a rope to retie my load of pipe.

They did not give me their names but my hat is off to these fine young gentlemen. I wish to express my gratitude to these three. Thanks very much.

So when you think a helping hand does not happen any more, this is to let you know it is still there. The young men were a great help and much appreciated at a time when I really needed them. I hope that they read this and know how proud I am to let everyone know how they helped me out.

Nick, nice letter. i’m sure you have learned a lesson and this could happen to anyone, but also may it remind everyone to PLEASE secure your truck loads, beyond any doubt of failure. This is a major cause of fatal accidents. It happened to a friend of mine in Florida; a load of pipes fell off onto her car and she was crushed to death.

I have spent a lot of time around young people and find most to be pleasent, well mannered and friendly.

As in all kinds of people their are diferent kinds of people.
