If the Bush administration really took the terrorist threats seriously, they’d examine all incoming containers from overseas, not just spot check them, put security detection devices on all doors going into public buildings, not just state and federal ones, install security cameras at every intersection, stop all out of country and into country phone calls, and reassess and redesign all passports to assure they can’t be forged.

Mr. Stover… If all the screaming and whining and gnashing of teeth over the airport security put in place by the Bush administration is any indication, I’d think pigs would fly much sooner than your suggestions would be accepted. Do you honestly think most are feasible? I’m not trying to be a jerk, I just don’t understand how many of the “Big Brother” suggestions make sense financially or in any other way.
