Freedom of Speech is being threatened during the presidential campaign.

The NRA has the facts on how Obama has voted on our right to bear arms. They have a very factual political ad about what his votes have been about this subject. The facts are in writing in the Senate voting record so why has he sent out the “Truth Squads” to threaten the news outlets to “Cease and Desist” running the ads?

It was under freedom of speech that the Obama campaign said that McCain had not released his medical records when Sen. McCain had released thousands of pages. Obama released one page of his medical record that said he was healthy but did not mention that he smoked or any medical testing. I remember the news reports when this happened.

It was under freedom of speech that Saturday Night Live said that Gov. Palin’s husband was sexually abusing his daughters. A newspaper writer from Canada said Gov. Palin was like a prostitute, etc., etc.

The United States has never been threatened with the loss of freedom of speech at the same time that Freedom of Speech was used to spread hurtful lies. If the “Truth Squads” are unable to stop the NRA’s truthful ad, bet the race card gets thrown out by the Obama campaign. What will happen if he becomes president?
