After reading Mike Saccone’s piece in the Sunday, Oct. 5 edition of The Daily Sentinel titled “Front Range group working to Re-elect Buescher” one wonders why the editorial board of the same paper would choose to endorse Mr. Buescher. It is quite evident the wealthiest of the wealthy on the Eastern Slope are willing to pay for someone who will stand with their views.
I would much rather be represented by Laura Bradford who will represent the people of Mesa County – not the “progressives” of the Eastern Slope.

Laura Bradford like the rest of the Republican candidates is much more likely to represent the interests of the big corporations, especially the oil and gas crowd, rather than the interests of the people of Mesa County. I do not know what planet Ruth Ehlers is living on, but Dems are in general not the representatives of the very wealthy with a few exceptions. I am always amazed to see middle class folks and economically deprived people voting against their own financial interests for the Republican candidate who with a few notable exceptions represents policies which will hurt these voters.
