Mesa County Libraries wants to provide the best library services to Fruita residents for their growing needs. If the voters of Fruita approve Referred Measure 2C to build a new community center, Mesa County Libraries will construct a branch library as part of the project. The new branch construction will be funded solely by the library district, as well as the costs of operation will be the library district’s.
If Referred Measure 2C is passed Mesa County Libraries Director Eve Tallman has said the plans are to partner with the city of Fruita on design, which will include shared spaces and the newest in energy efficiency methods.
