To the person who wrote into  “You Said It” about the MaCain/Palin signs, I agree with you except you got one thing wrong. It is Obama and his marxist philosophy that is selling the nation a pack of lies. God help this country if Obama is elected and we have Congress in the control of Reid and Pelosi.

Considering the colossal mess we’re currently in, one could argue that the alleged Obama “Marxist” philosophy offers the people much more than the “Fascist” philosophy promoted by McCain and Sarah Palin.

Fascist vs Marxists, why vote for the major candidates when it is surely a lose-lose?

There are very few who know what “fascism” or “marxism” are really about. Now, Mr. Cox may have studied them, but most who use the terms never have. And, if one is to use them, one should know what both are; i.e. what they really consist of. There are far too many who bandy the terms about, mostly as a tool to engender fear; being fearful themselves, they wish others to live in fear also. It is certainly their right to do so but, it is certainly not a great contributor to any type of rational and reasoned discourse.

Sarah Palin is proof that Sinclair Lewis was right. Her stump speech confirms his prediction about fascism.

There is argument after argument about signs. If anyone is “influenced” by any political sign or commercial, they need to do some serious thinking. The only thing they do for some of us is remind us that we have some individual running for office, and to carefully check what those candidates really stand for. In the case of the Republican signs for the Republican national ticket, they serve as a reminder to us that, for the sake of the country, we need to insure that those individuals DON’T get into office.
