The Daily Sentinel editorial on Joe the Plumber, the Republican plant, was opportunistic and silly.

Joe earns about $40,000 per year and the plumbing operation he wants to buy  brought in $100,000 for its owner last year.

I guess Joe is going to either really build up its business or he is going to make a really foolish investment. I wonder where he is going to borrow the money to leverage his buy-out for such an amazing opportunity.

Why not just do an analysis of Obama’s tax plan and rant about redistribution of wealth rather than take-off from such a bogus opportunity? Then explain how McCain’s plan is going to be great for what ails the economy. All that trickle down that has made our economy, driven by middle-class spending of money that they don’t have, so strong is surely going to be bolstered by an extension of the Bush tax cuts.

Let’s continue redistributing upwards. Our economy is the envy of all the worlds nations — and our citizens. Not!
