One of the most blatantly false TV political ads currently being aired is against Laura Bradford, candidate for Colorado House District 55.  The ad tries to convince voters that she is against health insurance policies that cover cancer screenings.  It shows a cancer patient to illustrate its point.  Ironically, Laura is a cancer survivor herself and was an uninsured single mom when she had treatment.  Why would she favor a policy like this?!  This ad is an insult to her and to her integrity!

Apparently, the opposition will stoop to whatever means possible to mislead the public on Laura’s policies.   She advocates the advantage of more options when shopping for health insurance coverage such as affordable, no frills policies that cover major medical incidents.  Many insurance companies already offer these options, with their deductibles adjusted according to how much risk a subscriber is comfortable assuming.

This ad is a despicable lie and should be pulled from the airwaves immediately.

I will be voting for a candidate I can trust to look out for Western Slope interests, including lower taxes and a friendly business climate, policies which Mr. Buescher has not advocated for people in western Colorado.
