Colorado River water flowing to western Colorado, Utah, Arizona, Nevada and California is about all the Colorado River can take care of. In the last few years of drought, the river hasn’t kept up with the water that was needed. Lake Powell and Lake Mead are already on the low mark.
My belief is the river runs west and should keep flowing in that direction. If Denver and eastern Colorado need water, they should dam up their mountain draws to build reservoirs to supply their own water.
