It would well serve the citizens of our nation, both now and into the future, if the beginning of the current fiscal crisis were made clear and prominently brought to national attention. That will not happen unless people like Colorado Sens. Mark Udall and Michael Bennet and others in positions of power give it enough prominence that the major media finally choose to examine and expose the truth.
Ignoring Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac errors, overlooking Rep. Barney Frank’s misstatements, while simultaneously endorsing President Obama’s deficit-ballooning programs will serve neither us, nor generations to follow.
Please, we don’t want our neighbor’s money routed through the government and into our pocket. We do want the publication, often and insistently, of truth about how this financial problem began. Then we will know exactly what is necessary to solve it.
