After reading Bruce Taylor’s and Bob Uhl’s letters to the editor recently, I now feel better  knowing that  this financial mess is all to blame on the evil “liberals!”

They are the ones who own and run the nation’s mortgage, banking, investment, insurance, home-building and real estate corporations. Yes, and they are all in a liberal conspiracy to ruin our great nation in the guise of giving working people affordable housing. This classic liberal lie shall not stand under the watchful eyes of such citizen scrutiny.

The reality though is quite the opposite. These firms are nearly all considered to be the most conservative businesses in the land. Why they did what they did is known only to them, but I think it probably has more to do with greed than with any “liberal” agenda.

“Follow the money” is as good a way as any to see who has profited (or lost) the most from these unsound practices.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, I can hardly wait to view the perp walk of the shamed criminal liberals who are responsible for this. I want to see them being marched off to jail in shame. Honestly though, I think that the only thing “liberal” about this whole subject is the nonsense surrounding who really is to blame for it.

Mr. Uhl says he sold a property in California to someone who couldn’t afford it. You want to find someone to blame? Look in the mirror. You’ll have plenty of company.
