Congratulations to Mesa County Partners. I am so glad that the community has responded in a big way to Mesa County Partners’ need for adult mentors. The aggressive media blitz including billboards, television, print and radio ads and yard signs has even run over county lines into Delta, Montrose and Gunnison Counties.

To all those people outside of Mesa County who want to volunteer their time mentoring, there is a Partners organization for you too. Partners of Delta, Montrose and Ouray Counties also needs mentors. We can be reached at 970-874-4661, 249-1116 or betsyshe@partners-west.org and our need is urgent also. For those who live in Gunnison, Partners can be reached at 970-641-5513.

There are eight Partners affiliates around the state of Colorado and our primary mission is to mentor youth. Please don’t think the need for mentors stops at the Mesa County line. Thanks again to Mesa County for the terrific and much-needed advertising.

Partners is a very worthy program.
What are the criteria you are looking for, and what does the commitment entail.
I’m sure these young people DO NOT need someone who volunteers and then decides he/she cannot handle the responsibility.
Good luck to you, you are in my prayers, and if I can help, I will.
