No wonder the Post Office is losing money, with bone-headed decisions like the one made by our local postmaster in closing the two sub-stations in north Grand Junction. This is executive incompetence at its best.
Now all the residents of the northern part of Grand Junction can drive downtown and add to the traffic woes. We can overcrowd an already crowded main Post Office after looking for a parking space. No wonder UPS and Federal Express are popular.

I know that the closure of the Horizon Drive substation was the choice of the private owner of that office, not the postmaster. I work nearby and got to hear all about it.
