I was critical of President Obama and the Democrat-controlled Congress concerning the welfare of our nation. That was back when Obama campaigned in “57 states” and even recently, when House Speaker Nancy Pelosi “didn’t know about” waterboarding.
However, with the stimulus now working, my concerns are unwarranted — even though the unemployment rate is over 9 percent, at a 25-year high and the national debt exceeds $11 trillion. These are simply some “changes that we can believe in!”
So, not to worry, Obama says, “We’ve done more than ever, faster than ever … to get the gears of the economy moving again” and the stimulus is “on track.” If this weren’t true, would he take a “family overnight” trip” to Camp David, fly his wife to New York for “date night” or indulge in weekly golf games in between burger lunches with the media?
There’s much to learn from this man. For example, we can’t consider ourselves a Christian nation, and based upon our Muslim population, we’re among the largest Muslim countries in the world. We also must understand that terrorism is a “man-caused disaster,” homeland security is enhanced by befriending our enemies, and reducing the national debt simply means dumping more money on top of that already wasted.
Once you “get the drift” you’ll understand that even though no one in the Obama administration has ever really earned a nickel, it will rebuild all that it has destroyed by simply getting the money from us and endless generations to come.
