I received a heart-breaking telephone call at recently from my dear sister-friend, JoAnn Topliss, who resides in Grand Junction. She had been notified only hours before that her son, David Kinternecht, had been killed in the line of duty. He was a sergeant in the Montrose Police Department where he had served for 10 years.
Sgt. David Kinternecht, husband and father, along with two other officers, were responding to a domestic violence call in a very affluent neighborhood on July. David was mortally wounded in this incident. The other two officers were shot but not killed. The man who fired the initial shots was killed in the incident.
I believe, as Americans, we need to honor and respect all law enforcement officers. They lay their lives on the proverbial line every day to protect the American public.
I believe that President Obama, as our duly elected president, owes all law enforcement officers a straight forward, not couched in political lingo, apology for the comments he made in a recent news conference regarding the situation with his friend. Law enforcement officers do not act “stupidly”—they act on information provided and on their best judgment in the current situation.

Wow…I wondered when someone was going to turn the shooting of a local police officer into a political issue. Hope you didn’t get your shoes dirty, standing on the poor guy’s corpse like that. And all to make a point that is NOT EVEN RELEVANT to his death!
Congrats, Harriett…you’ve sunk lower than a lot of people would dare.

Recently, in Sarasota, Florida, a law officer repeatedly stomped on an arestee who was already down on the ground in the police parking lot of the jail. This was all caught on videotape. I don’t have a link, so just search it. This is a prime case of an officer acting EXTREMELY stupidly! And now the city is being sued for a lot of money after offering the guy a few hundred dollars to keep quiet. If that’s not stupid…

i think ms. real was simply stating was so many of us adhere to, respect law enforcement! that our president treated the police with such disdain without the facts only perpetuates the lack of trust between law enforcement and citizens. another injustice was how the lady who made the 911 call has been speared by the “media”. i wonder how gates might feel if he happened to come home and found his home burglarized. i can see it now, headline next day, “what do we pay the cops for, says gates.”

You know what I think, ‘doc’?
I think a good, brave, much beloved man is dead, and people who use his death to advance their own political agendas (under the guise of ‘respect’) are shameful. After all, a dead man can’t say whether or not he has an opinion in your particular fight, now can he?
But some of you are blissfully ignorant of that concept, when you feel you’re right.

You know what I think, ‘Cur’ et al?
Some of you are blissfully ignorant of reality when you feel you’re right.
America is being torn apart by Obama and his ‘grassroots’ herd of “useful idiots” piling on to the body blows being delivered to the very idea of ‘United’. And if you came down from your self-righteous tin perch long enough, you too would begin to wonder if your ‘hope ‘n change’ guy may very well go down in history as the Great Divider.
Mike Kruglik, who taught Obama about the principles of “community organizing” in his early days on the bottom rung of Chicago-style politics said the following about Obama in an ‘07 interview with Ryan Lizza (The New Republic):
“He was a natural, the undisputed master of agitation, who could engage a room full of recruiting targets in a rapid-fire Socratic dialogue, nudging them to admit that they were not living up to their own standards. As with the panhandler, he could be aggressive and confrontational. With probing, sometimes personal questions, he would pinpoint the source of pain in their lives, tearing down their egos just enough before dangling a carrot of hope that they could make things better.”
“The agitator’s job, according to Alinsky, is first to bring folks to the “realization” that they are indeed miserable, that their misery is the fault of unresponsive governments or greedy corporations, then help them to bond together to demand what they deserve, and to make such an almighty stink that the dastardly governments and corporations will see imminent “self-interest” in granting whatever it is that will cause the harassment to cease. In these methods, euphemistically labeled “community organizing,” Obama had a four-year education, which he often says was the best education he ever got anywhere.”
Feel free to smear all of the many sources that have quoted this interview - including a number of Democratic Hillary supporters. Take your pick - it’s to be expected from one of BO’s foot soldiers. Too bad for you that you will also be smearing one of the few ‘accomplishments’ on BO’s resume that he used to sprint from Community Organizer/Agitator to Presidential Agitator In Chief.
For anyone with an open mind who’s beginning to lose HOPE and wondering about the kind of CHANGE Obama really wants, all you have to do is learn the basic facts about his training for his life’s work:

Not one word about Officer Kinterknecht in that little gem, JMH.
Not. One. Word.
Just another rant about “Obammer”.
Impressive.
Fred Phelps would be proud.
