Wes Sheader got more than a few looks during his morning commute Friday. Sheader was dressed in full Bat suit, cape flying, while driving his very own Bat Mobile.

Sheader is one of the few pediatric chiropractic specialists in the nation. He works at New Life Chriropractic where the entire office transformed itself into Gotham City complete with skyline, the Joker, Catwoman, and the Penguin.

The chiropractic office treats so many children that the entire office tries to make Halloween and a trip to the doctor different and fun. Children were treated within the Bat Cave today and given a glow necklace instead of candy.

Staff said that candy and the consumption of sugar this time of year leads to a weakened immune system, making children more susceptible to flu and other illness.

The office also has a “guess the bat” contest for children with varying prizes available. The office chose the Batman theme because it was something children would easily recognize and feel comfortable with.
